Consistently ranked as one of the top entrepreneurship programs in the nation, the Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises (EEE) Department at the Whitman School helps you discover your innate entrepreneurial potential, giving you a set of tools and perspectives to capitalize on that potential and helping launch your career.
Syracuse University is one of the few schools in the nation with a formal academic department devoted to entrepreneurship, and the major components are housed right here at the Whitman School. In collaboration with the Falcone Center for Entrepreneurship, our EEE department combines a highly unique set of courses with several extracurricular activities and experiential opportunities to give you the total entrepreneurship experience.
Degree Programs
The Whitman School's Department of Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises oversees undergraduate major and MBA concentrations, as well as a master's program in entrepreneurship and a Ph.D. field of focus. The entrepreneurship faculty — consisting of both high-caliber researchers and practicing entrepreneurs — has led the department to national recognition since its inception in the late 1990s. Most recently in 2023, the Princeton Review ranked both our undergraduate and graduate entrepreneurship programs as among the best in the nation.
Research
