Dean's Message

The excitement generated by the activities and initiatives at the Whitman School of Management are emblematic of our great momentum and potential.  Our alumni continue to be influenced and shaped by their time at Whitman, and their support has vastly supported our mission -- most notably in recent gifts from James Kuhn'70 BS, '72 MBA who endowed the James D. Kuhn Real Estate Center, and Steven Gendal '83 BS who created the Howard R. Gendal Professor of Marketing.

As the Whitman School of Management moves forward, the focus upon leadership at the intersection of business and technology remains paramount. Faculty and academic resources are focused on offering an experience that is unparalleled. A Whitman education means an experiential learning opportunity where students are committed to scholarship, teamwork, and community engagement, and where motivation and responsibility play prominent roles in academic and professional success. Our students possess the drive, curiosity, and talents to compete in today’s business world, and are eager to acquire more advanced skills as they enter the marketplace. We welcome students who want to make an impact.
