Degree Programs

Undergraduate The Department of Marketing offers undergraduate majors in marketing management, retail management, and supply chain management.

 

MBA The Marketing Department in the Whitman School offers MBA concentrations in both supply chain and marketing management.

The MBA marketing concentration focuses on brand/product management and requires the completion of Marketing Management (the core course), Marketing Research, and two or more electives. The electives may be chosen from an eclectic menu, allowing students to build on their strengths, link them in productive ways, and gain interdisciplinary competence.

For the MBA supply chain management concentration, students are required to take Introduction to Supply Chain Management (the core course) and two required courses: Supply Chain and Logistics Management and Principles of Management Science, as well as one or more electives in supply chain management, management information systems, or marketing.

The Marketing Department also offers an M.S. in Media Management in collaboration with the prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

 

PhD The Whitman School offers a PhD in business administration with concentrations in marketing management and supply chain management.
