The position will be in Kansas. Directs the improvement of the global SC engineering team by selecting, recruiting, developing, and retaining highly competent people, developing and implementing performance evaluation and succession planning programs for the department, and defines and realizes changes to the organizational structure as needed. Ensures manufacturing processes and equipment support of new product bundles to achieve target cost, and works to identify ongoing margin improvement opportunities. Ensures that product development addresses standardization and simplification for materials, formulas, manufacturing processes and packaging. Understands industry/competitive trends, consumer insight tools, market research methodologies and claim substantiation

Basic Qualifications: B.S. in Engineering. 10+ years of experience in Process Engineering. 4+ years of experience managing people, 4+ years of experience within the Food industry, or a related consumer goods industry. Ability to travel 10-25%. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Project Management/Project Engineering. Experience interfacing with the USDA and/or FDA. MBA. Ability to understand and develop an overall strategic view of the business as a whole. Results oriented and collaborative. Hands-on work style.
