Recruiting Success
The Whitman Career Center acts as an intermediary between corporations and the students and faculty of the Whitman School of Management. The Whitman Career Center team actively listens to the needs of your corporation and works to tailor your approach to our campus. With more than 1,700 undergraduate students and 350 graduate students, the Whitman School offers a diverse candidate pool to meet your recruiting needs.
Typical avenues for recruiting candidates are offered through our specialty career fairs along with on-campus recruiting days. Through these means, you will be able to build a brand identity on our campus to cultivate the appropriate applicant pool. In addition to Whitman events, we assist your efforts to build relationships across the SU campus through our Career Services Network, which represents all schools and colleges of the university.
The faculty in the Whitman School prepares students to think critically to solve business problems through the use of case studies and theory application. Corporate representatives are encouraged to take an active role in our educational venue by participating and sharing in the classroom environment. Our partners who have taken advantage of this invitation create an opportunity to meet with intelligent students, and sometimes recruit those students from this informal setting.
