Community Programs
The Kiebach Center for International Business Studies brings an international focus to local communities in the area through hosting workshops and activities for local businesses and Whitman students. Programs include:
ExportNY
The ExportNY program is made possible through a collaborative effort between The Kiebach Center for International Business Studies at the Whitman School of Management, National Grid, and local companies in the Syracuse area. Through this initiative, local businesses are able to learn the fundamentals of entering the global market by creating an international business plan and completing nine months of intensive corporate training program at SU's Whitman School.
International Day
Whitman International Day is an annual, multicultural event developed to bring together the SU community in celebration of the cultural diversity present in the graduate and undergraduate student body at the Whitman School. Co-sponsored by the Kiebach Center and the Whitman MBA Student Association, the event is free to the public and is held in the Whitman Flaum Grand Hall. Students can showcase their heritage by representing their home countries in native cuisine, ethnic dance and music, and international talents such as calligraphy, henna art, and origami.
The CNY International Business Forum
The CNY International Business Forum
is designed to help business leaders take greater advantage of international business opportunities. Whether a company already has a global presence or is just beginning to enter the international marketplace, the forum helps business owners develop the tools necessary for success, keep current on global developments, and understand the latest advances in international business technology.
