Whitman Student Clubs

You can meet and network with students and professionals who share your business and entrepreneurial interest. With approximately 17 student clubs and organizations, ranging from Whitman Women in Business to the Pulp Marketing Club, Whitman students are provided a chance to learn from professionals and demonstrate field leadership capabilities.


Alpha Kappa Psi (AKPSI)

Alpha Kappa Psi (AKPSI) is the world's largest and oldest professional business fraternity open to all majors on campus. Alpha Kappa Psi is recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders.


Beta Alpha Psi

Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) is a professional service fraternity that includes accounting, finance and information system technology majors. Members discuss current issues concerning professions and take advantage of networking opportunities.


Delta Sigma Pi

Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities, to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community. The Xi Tau Chapter at Syracuse University was founded in 2001 and has grown to approximately 100 active brothers encompassing Whitman students and economics majors.

Franklin Supply Chain

The CSCMP Syracuse University Roundtable welcomes anyone interested in learning more about supply chain management. Through various field trips and guest speakers during the year, the club provides the opportunity to see supply chain management in action, as well as learn more about current events and issues affecting the field.


International Business Association

The International Business Association (IBA) is dedicated to providing students an exposure to the increasingly global nature of business. The IBA takes trips to companies with worldwide operations, brings in speakers to discuss the workings of international business and provides a forum to learn from the collective experiences of our diverse student population.


Investment Club

The Investment Club consists of students in a variety of majors from throughout the university and meets weekly to actively manage a trading portfolio consisting of over $100,000 in real cash, as well as discuss stocks, ETFs, commodities and much more. 


National Association of Black Accountants (NABA)

The NABA represents the interests of minorities participating in the fields of accounting, auditing, business, consulting, finance and information technology. Its mission is to address the professional needs of members and to build leaders that shape the future of the accounting and finance arenas.


Pulp Marketing Club

Pulp Marketing Club is a professional organization with the purpose of promoting an interest in the field of marketing. The club, through its activities, strives for the professional development of its members. This includes interaction with industry experts, career advancement opportunities with leading recruiters and fun-based events aimed at mutual learning and sharing of experiences. The club also encourages members to participate in Project Pulp, a program where members can pair their passions and creative interests with the field of marketing for official Whitman School recognition.


Real Estate Club

The Real Estate Club provides an opportunity for interested students to learn more about the industry, network with industry professionals and learn about various projects through site visits. Some of the areas of real estate covered include construction, development, finance, real estate law, real estate management and sales.

 


The Entrepreneurship Club

The Entrepreneurship Club is dedicated to supporting the needs of and encouraging the spirit of entrepreneurship among the Syracuse University student body. The Whitman School's Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises Department supports the club.


WGSO (Whitman Graduate Student Organization)

The Whitman Graduate Student Organization aims to enrich the Whitman School's graduate programs' experience through social, cultural and community-oriented activities and events.


Whitman Women in Business

The objective of Whitman Women in Business is to mentor all students and promote women’s advancement in the corporate world through focused efforts towards social and economic empowerment, professional growth and a strong network of women business leaders.
