Case and Business Plan Competitions
MBA student teams demonstrate strategic thinking, use critical analysis skills, and deliver dynamic presentations in competitions across the country and internationally.
Exemplifying Whitman’s commitment to providing students with real-life, hands-on experiences, the Whitman School holds an annual Case Competition, open to all Whitman MBA/MS graduate students and graduate students from invited schools. The prize money totals $5,000.
Additionally, the Whitman School is home to the renowned Panasci Business Plan Competition, which annually awards $40,000 in prize money. The Panasci Competition showcases individual and group student business plans and innovative ideas. The competition spans four months, during which students have the opportunity to work with Whitman faculty in the Business Plan Laboratory each week. In early April, semi-finalists are selected to present their business plans to a distinguished panel of judges.
