Whitman Consulting Club

In part, the Whitman Consulting Club creates future consultants by offering members practical experiences by working on real life projects.

The WCC also provides professional business solutions to companies and gives company executives the opportunity to interact with potential future hires.

Recent Projects:

• Cazenovia Chamber of Commerce: Performed market research on residents’ perceptions of the current business environment and economic development plans for this local community.
• Syracuse University Project Advance: Assessed awareness of SU faculty and staff of Project Advance, which provides college-level courses to high school students.
• Health Care & Wellness Company: Examined strategic alternatives and completed a financial valuation of the company.
• Bottle Neckless: Helped design a marketing plan for a product that adorns a wine bottle to help prevent dripping.
• Study Tunes: Conducted a market research project to assess customer perceptions of a product that teaches grammar rules and vocabulary using music.
• Syracuse Veterans Administration Hospital: Designed a model to better allocate physical and human resources to increase the capacity utilization of the hospital.
• Manlius Library Bookmark Café: Formulated a set of recommendations to improve the profitability of the Café .
