The Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises (EEE) program in the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University has been ranked among the best in the country by Entrepreneur Magazine and The Princeton Review. The undergraduate program in entrepreneurship is ranked #13 in the country. The graduate program in entrepreneurship is ranked #12. The rankings are published in the October issue of Entrepreneur Magazine, available Sept. 22.

“This is another great external recognition of Whitman’s entrepreneurship program, and we are incredibly proud,” says Melvin T. Stith, dean of the Whitman School. “Whitman immerses our students in the entrepreneurial mind set by combining the classroom with experiential learning and outreach programs. We’re dedicated to fostering innovative ways of thinking through entrepreneurship, and we’re very pleased that our tremendous efforts have been acknowledged by two reputable organizations.”

The rankings were based on a survey of more than 2,300 programs nationwide. Criteria included teaching business fundamentals in the classroom, staffing departments with successful entrepreneurs, and providing experiential or entrepreneurial opportunities outside of the classroom.
