Assistant Professor John M. Torrens Published in Wall Street Journal


Assistant professor of entrepreneurial practice, John M. Torrens, Ph.D., had his essay, "Should Equity-Based Crowd Funding Be Legal," published March 19th in both the print and online versions of The Wall Street Journal. 

In the essay, arguing the positive's and negative's of crowd funding with Dave Lavinsky, the founder of Growthink, Inc., Torrens states that the risks of crowd funding are too high, creating problems for people on both sides of the transaction.
