Amanda Nicholson, assistant professor of retail management, Kathy Dwyer, president, TAG Group LLC, and Trisha Torrey, former owner of IntegriMark Communications, will discuss the power of marketing at “Talking Business: A Conversation With…” on Sept. 10, starting at 4:30 p.m. Co-sponsored by the WISE Center, Women Business Owners Connection (WBOC), and Key Bank, the event will be held at the South Side Innovation Center (SSIC), located at 2610 S. Salina St. in Syracuse. Registration and light refreshments will begin at 4:30 p.m. Dessert and networking will occur after the event. A $5.00 donation per person is requested with proceeds used to support the series.

Nicholson, Dwyer, and Torrey will discuss how they have approached marketing their own businesses – as well as their clients’ businesses – and the lessons we can learn from their efforts. A web site is available for the series, which includes information on upcoming events and videos from past event (www.SyracuseTalkingBusiness.com).

This project was made possible, in part, through an Enitiative award. Enitiative is funded by a grant from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, focusing on entrepreneurship in the arts, technology, and our neighborhoods. To learn more about Enitiative, visit www.enitiative.syr.edu.
