Michael Harney ’10 BS
Supply Chain Management and Marketing
Supply Chain

Michael Harney was the NYC Roundtable recipient of a full scholarship to the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals’ annual Global Supply Chain Conference in Chicago. At the conference, he participated in information sessions that exposed him to the latest industry trends. While at Whitman, Michael has also traveled to Denver for the Operation Stimulus Case Competition where he was engaged in unique hands-on learning experiences.

Coming from Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Michael chose the supply chain management program at the Whitman School because he recognized the opportunity to combine his interests in engineering and management.

As president of the Franklin Supply Chain Management Association, Michael acknowledges the importance of getting involved with as many career-related organizations as possible while he’s still in school. “Not only does it help build your resume, but it helps you to determine your desired career path,” Michael says. “Taking advantage of all the opportunities that the Whitman School and Syracuse University offer has always been extremely important to me.”
