Joseph I. Lubin School of Accounting, Alumni and Friends

At PwC, Ben-Ami is in charge of performing corporate investigations and litigation support. Originally from Hoboken, New Jersey, Ben-Ami is one of ten family members to attend Syracuse University. He graduated in 2000 with a degree in accounting, and went on to earn his CPA certificate in New York where he began his career working in both the audit and DA&I divisions of PwC. Ben-Ami continues his relationship with the Whitman School as the chair of the Lubin School of Accounting’s Alumni Council which fosters a relationship between Whitman accounting alumni and the current faculty and students.

During his senior year at SU, Ben-Ami served as president of Beta Alpha Psi, SU’s international business fraternity. “Serving as a member of Beta Alpha Psi allowed me to combine my major in accounting with community service, career exploration, and enhanced my leadership skills,” says Ben-Ami. “All of these have impacted who I am today in terms of my job, my continued involvement with community service, and my success here at PwC.”
