Professor Lee has taught extensively in various executive
development programs and has frequently received recognition for
teaching excellence.
Lee’s main research interests are competitive marketing
strategies and distribution channel management. His research explores
these issues by developing and analyzing quantitative models of
distribution channels and market competition. His current research
topics include channel structure strategy, strategic utilization of
store brand in retailing, managing price competition, channel
contracting in the movie industry, and consumer survey methodology. His
research has appeared in leading academic journals.
Lee received his PhD and MBA from Duke University and his BBA
from Seoul National University. Prior to joining the Whitman
faculty, he taught at Seattle University and the University of British
Columbia.
