By learning the necessary skills to be successful in the business and finance world, Kenny Hernandez is confident he will find a great job when he graduates from Whitman. “Whitman prepares you for a career,” says Kenny. “In class, we learn team-building by working in groups and we all know how to pull our own weight. These skills are really important to have in the work world.”

Kenny, originally from New York City, finds that many corporate recruiters are accessible through Whitman. “My teachers have a lot of contacts,” says Kenny. “I went to the finance career fair and I met some really promising potential employers.”
