Fifth Annual Whitman Day Keynote Address: J. Bruce Flatt

“Investing in Turbulent Times” was the keynote address J. Bruce Flatt delivered at the 5th annual Whitman Day celebration in the Whitman School of Management. Flatt is managing partner and CEO of Brookfield Asset Management, a global asset manager focused on property, power, timber, and other infrastructure assets with approximately $95 billion in assets under management. Flatt most recently served as president and COO at Brookfield and has held other senior management positions in the company since 1992. "Brookfield's investment strategy," says Flatt, "is built to endure in tough times." He shared eight investment principles that have guided this 110-year-old company.
