Message from the Dean |
Happy 2007! You may have heard a lot about “social entrepreneurship” recently. At Whitman, social entrepreneurship has long been part of the learning fabric. The Whitman School has recently received a number of key grants and gifts that epitomize our commitment to social entrepreneurship. These awards and
gifts remind us of the power that individuals, schools, organizations, and companies have to effect change and spur the kind of innovation that builds better futures. Through the Spring 2007 semester and beyond, Whitman will continue to make “social entrepreneurship” more than a buzz word, but a way of life. We look forward to your continued involvement with the Whitman community.
