Calling for Class Notes |
The Whitman School of Management has a rich and vibrant history. Since its inception in 1919, amazing activities, events, innovations, and research have taken place within our walls. The advent of electronic communications has made keeping track of our alumni and our history easier than ever. But we still need your help. Please keep in touch with us, and share with us your professional and personal accomplishments through our class notes. To submit your class note, visit the Whitman website or email the Whitman magazine editors.

New Club for NYC Whitman Alums
|
Whitman alumni in the NYC area have a new way to associate -- the New York City Whitman Alumni Club. Leading the club are alums Mara Silver-Smith '02 BS and Cheryl Curri '04 BS '05 MS. "After talking with many alums in the tri-state area, Ceryl and I decided a Whitman Alumni Club would be a great way for alums to reconnect with each other and the Whitman School," says Silver-Smith. "We need everyone to roll up their sleeves, join in, and help us start a vibrant, energizing club," says Curri. For more information or to get involved, email whitmannyc@gmail.com. |

Whitman Students at NYMEX
|
| Whitman Students Take Manhattan |
Thanks to dedicated and generous Whitman alumni, Whitman students recently experienced what it's like to work in marketing and finance in Manhattan. A group of twenty Whitman students toured Sony, Apple, Pepsi, Harris Interactive, Macy's, Time Warner, and Toys 'R Us in January, and in February, a select group of Whitman students received front line perspectives on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX). On both trips, students met with alums working in the industries, and we are grateful for their continued involvement with the school. |
