Message from the Dean |
In our ongoing effort to prepare our students for future careers, the Whitman Career Center is sponsoring "24," a transition program for sophomores and juniors. On April 13, at 6:00 p.m., students will spend 24 hours getting ready for fall recruiting through participating in mock interviews, resume critiques, career panels, and more. We are confident our students will get a lot out of this unique program and be more ready than ever to "wow" future employers. Alumni are welcome to participate as sponsors -- if you would like more information, contact the Whitman Career Center at (315) 443-4140.

Rebecca Jarebek
|
| iMBA Club Commemorates Rebecca Jarabek |
The Whitman iMBA Alumni Club recently began fundraising for a paving stone to be placed in the SU Orange Grove in memory of the late Rebecca Jarabek, a dear friend and fellow Whitman iMBA student. Jarabek, 28, graduated with honors from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2000, and moved on to represent the United States Army in Korea, Germany, Kuwait, and Iraq as a Blackhawk medical evacuation pilot. One of nine children, and a twin, she is descibed as someone who loved to be outdoors, often participating in triathlons and riding her bike for 100 miles at a time. Jarabek passed away in 2007 after returning from Iraq. |
