iMBA Frequently Asked Questions
Whitman’s Technology Services team--a full-time staff of seven technology professionals--is an integral part of the iMBA program support structure. The Technology Services team provides year-round support for iMBA students in leveraging technology to get the maximum benefit of the program.
|Minimum Computing Specifications|
Mac users will need to have Microsoft Windows installed via Apple Bootcamp, Parallels Desktop orVMWare Fusion. Student who do not own Microsoft Windows, or are unsure if they have an appropriate Microsoft Windows license for this use please contact Whitman Technology Services for assistance.
* Depending on your course and instructor, you may need to install/modify applications to complete your coursework. Additionally Syracuse University’s high speed wireless access does require an installation on all computers.
Wireless Configuration of your LaptopWhitman’s Wi-Fi can be manually configured once on campus with ease. For users with Administrative access to their computers (ie. the ability to install applications on your computer), please follow the AirOrangeX configuration steps. Users without Administrative access, please follow the AirOrangeGuest configuration steps.
