About the EBV

The EBV Foundation

The EBV Foundation was established in early 2009 by Ted Lachowicz along with his wife, Cheryl, and two daughters, Danielle and Tia. Ted and Cheryl are Syracuse University graduates who have remained involved with the Whitman School of Management, where they first were introduced to the EBV program. With past experience involving veterans disability cases, the family saw the EBV program as an opportunity to get involved with a cause that they are not only passionate about, but believe in.

The EBV Foundation's mission is to:

• Raise donations and to provide funds to the participating schools for their EBV programs
• Provide mentors to participating veterans to assist in the development of their business plans
• Long term - provide seed capital to veterans to start their business.
