The Michael J. Falcone Center for Entrepreneurship

The Falcone Center for Entrepreneurship is affiliated with the Department of Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises at Syracuse University. The center is under the direction of Nola Miyasaki. Our mission is the facilitation of entrepreneurial activity on the campus, in the local and regional community, and beyond. The center focuses on outreach efforts, offering a portfolio of innovative programs and initiatives for various constituencies. These programs are organized into three areas: student and campus-focused initiatives, community outreach, and venture creation from emerging technologies.

Campus-Based Initiatives

Community and National Outreach

Venture Creation and Growth from Emerging Technologies

  • Grants for special projects offering opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in entrepreneurship and technology commercialization
  • Partnerships with community technology development programs, such as the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce Technology Garden, the Central New York Technology Development Organization, and the New York Indoor Environmental Quality Center, will be forged to leverage limited resources in Syracuse to build the technology industry
