| Entrepreneurship Initiatives Around the Campus
Entrepreneurship is pervasive throughout the Syracuse University campus. The University has demonstrated a strong entrepreneurial orientation since its founding. While the core academic and outreach programs are housed within the Department of Entrepreneurship & Emerging Enterprises and the Falcone Center for Entrepreneurship, many additional entrepreneurial intiatives can be found around the campus.
We fundamentally believe in the principle of "every student and entrepreneur." As such, the goal at Syracuse is to have some aspect of entrepreneurship touch literally every student's life, no matter what their major, program of study, or home college. This philosophy is reflected in the Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) Learning Community, which includes a residence hall just for students who are passionate about these subjects. It is also reflected in exciting and highly impactful programs that exist in schools and colleges outside the business school. Examples from the College of Law, the Maxwell School of Citizenship, the School of Information Studies, the School of Visual and Performing Arts, and the College of Environmental Science & Forestry can be found under the Entrepreneurship Around the Campus drop-down menu.
