SYRACUSE, NY (Tuesday, May 31, 2005) - The Program in Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises is extremely pleased to announce a $10,000 grant from the Coleman Foundation.  This grant will be used to support ten $1,000 scholarships that will go to deserving faculty from across the country to attend the Experiential Classroom VI being held at Syracuse University September 15-18th, 2005.

The Experiential Classroom is an annual clinic designed to demonstrate practical, simple, provocative, and innovative ways in which those who are new to the teaching of entrepreneurship can use a variety of content related and experiential pedagogical tools. This program seeks to help entrepreneurship educators be great teachers by exposing them to best practices.

Dr. Michael Morris, Witting Chair and Director of the Experiential Classroom, noted, "The Coleman Foundation does an amazing job of supporting the education of future entrepreneurs, and Syracuse University is so very proud to be partnering with Coleman on this vital intiative."
