The real winners were all 54 teams that entered, and certainly all sixteen of the finalists. However, we are proud to announce the following awards from the final rounds of the Syracuse Business Plan Competition this past Friday and Saturday.

The winners represented five different schools at Syracuse and included one non-profit enterprise. We know you share our pride in all of these students. A big thanks also for the great faculty support we received, and especially from Sandra Hurd, Dave Wilemon, Clint Tankersley, Rhett Weiss, George Burman, Peter Koveos, Randy Elder, and Bill Walsh.
And the Spring 2002 winners ...
On April 29, the final Presentation round was held, and the prizes were awarded as follows:
First Place ($25,000): Hermes
Second Place ($15,000): Trident Productions
All other finalist team members received gift certificates for the retail store Best Buy.
Congratulations to the winning teams, and to all finalists, for their hard work in preparing for and participating in the Competition final round! The judges enjoyed their visit to Syracuse, and found the presentations and discussion stimulating and interesting.
