This award honors individuals that exemplify the traits of entrepreneurs by putting everything on the line and implementing change. Students that have started businesses, exceptional RA programming, the development of new clubs and organizations, as well as community service projects are prime examples of entrepreneurs. The winning student will receive a cash award as well as recognition at the annual banquet held by the Entrepreneurship Club and the Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises Department. The winner will also have a chance to be featured in Entrepreneur Magazine.
All entries are due no later than 5:00 PM on March 26th, 2008.

Winners
The 2007 Student Entrepreneur of the Year was awarded to Lee Goldberg. Lauren Abramson was honored with Social Entrepreneur of the year for founding Skills for Success Pro-Challenge, a program focusing on college and work-force preparation in urban schools.
The 2006 Student Entrepreneur of the Year was Roc Hargrove of BachelorFurniture.com and Brian Stout who received the Social Entrepreneur of the Year distinction for leadership in Outrage, a goal-oriented group that fights for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender/transsexual equality and gender expression rights.
The 2005 Student Entrepreneur of the year was Joe Cassara of Syracuse is Oranges and Social Entrepreneur of the Year was awarded to Kenneth White, for help in starting the Syracuse Film Festival.
The 2004 Student Entrepreneur of the year was Matthew Dacey of One Click Video and One Click Grocery.
Winner of the 2003 Student Entrepreneur of the year was Brian Bushell, founder of Memory Foam Factory. Brian graduated in spring 2003 with a degree in EEE.
