Workshop: The Art of Asking Questions

Once again this semester the Goodman Leadership Center is providing a series of workshops and roundtables on specific leadership skills that you can practice. We believe that leadership can be learned one skill at a time!  Our next workshop is Thursday, January 23rd at 5pm.  Place;  WSOM 306.  Please join Professor Cardarelli in a discussion of the 'art of asking questions'.  Whatever your discipline, you will need information from others...clients employees, customers, vendors.   You will need to interview them formally or informally.  With a few basic concepts and a good deal of practice, you can greatly increase what you learn at your job, a hallmark of those that advance and lead.

Also watch for an exciting opportunity in March to meet and listen to noteworthy Whistleblowers from all walks as the Goodman Leadership Center along with several other schools at the university host the National Whistleblower Tour.  The line-up of people coming to share their stories promises to be impressive.  Mark Thursday, March 27th on your calendars for events taking place at Whitman.

Details to come.
