| Holtz Awards Ceremony

The Martin J. Whitman School of Management
at Syracuse University
will honor Theodore Spall, Jr., ’69, with the Jonathan J. Holtz Alumnus of the Year Award at a ceremony in Whitman’s Lender Auditorium. The Jonathan J. Holtz Alumnus of the Year Award is the highest honor given to graduates of the Martin J. Whitman School of Management.
At the ceremony Michael Gursha, ’10 (WHIT/NEW) will also be honored as Whitman Young Alumnus of the Year, and the Dean’s Citation for Exceptional Service will be presented to Bruce Evans. Members of Whitman’s faculty and staff also will receive honors.
A reception will follow in the Milton Room on the fourth floor of the Whitman School.

The purpose of the Army Comptroller Course (ACC) is to provide a basic multi-disciplined financial and resource management (RM) overview to DoD military & civilian personnel newly assigned to the Comptroller Career field and to other personnel without a multi-disciplined background. The course blends current DoD/Army management and the latest in academic management techniques. ACC provides graduates the ability to operate within the current environment and gives them the skills necessary to be more effective and efficient. ACC will take place from 10 February to 28 February with three days spent at Minnowbrook Conference Center.
