The purpose of the Executive Comptroller Course (ECC) is to provide mid-level military and civilian resource/financial managers a broad perspective of the core competencies of Defense Financial Management. The course emphasizes the application of those competencies for resource/financial management decision making in the U.S. Army. The program takes place from June 3 - June 21 with three days spent at the Minnowbrook Conference Center.

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Army Comptroller Course
The purpose of the Army Comptroller Course (ACC) is to provide a basic multi-disciplined financial and resource management (RM) overview to DoD military & civilian personnel newly assigned to the Comptroller Career field and to other personnel without a multi-disciplined background. The course blends current DoD/Army management and the latest in academic management techniques. ACC provides graduates the ability to operate within the current environment and gives them the skills necessary to be more effective and efficient. ACC will take place from August 5 - August 23 with three days spent at Minnowbrook Conference Center.

We will touch on important accounting terms and vital bookkeeping tasks for a thriving business.  We will spend a significant amount of time explaining financial reports and how to use the information beyond tax planning.  Most important to anyone operating a business is the ability to translate financial reports into critical and meaningful information about the current and the very real status of their business operations.  Once this information is translated beyond just numbers, the entrepreneur can go further to plan and strategize its future growth.
