The SSIC and U.S. Small Business Administration invite small businesses to attend this free federal contracting workshop. This SBA certification program can be a critical tool for growing your business by increasing federal contracting opportunities. SBA Business Opportunity Specialist James Quackenbush will review the application process and eligibility criteria for the program.

The 8(a) Business Development program is a business assistance program for small disadvantaged businesses. It offers assistance to approved firms that are owned and controlled at least 51% by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals.
