Professor Smith is a marketing strategy and business development executive with extensive experience in the electrical channels and construction markets. She led the marketing team at Pass & Seymour in Syracuse, including while they became a major U.S. manufacturer of electrical wiring devices and data communication accessories and a subsidiary of legrand, Limoges, France. While at Pass & Seymour, Smith was responsible for product management, channel marketing, sales, and new business teams. Most recently, she was vice president of marketing for IRWIN Industrial Tools division of Newell Rubbermaid in Huntersville, N.C. Smith earned her bachelor’s degree at Cornell University and her MBA at Boston College. Her areas of expertise include product innovation and new business ventures.
