Professor Nicolaides teaches Applied Linear Regression Analysis and Introduction to Statistics for Management. Her research is around how students reason about statistics, particularly in hypothesis testing and with p-values. She is a member of the American Statistical Association. Her industry experience includes working as a supervisor and trainer for Merck-Medco. She holds board leadership positions at the Syracuse Real Food Coop, the Westcott Area Cultural Coalition, and the Westcott Fair, and is an active volunteer for several other community groups. Her areas of expertise include statistical analysis, statistics in the media, effective graphical communication, and not-for-profit management and governance.
