US News ranks Whitman’s undergraduate program in top 50 nationwide
The undergraduate business program in the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University has been ranked as one of the top 50 best undergraduate business programs nationwide in US News & World Report’s “America’s Best Colleges 2014.” The Whitman School is ranked No. 43.
The edition also ranks business specialty programs; the Department of Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises in the Whitman School was ranked number eight nationwide. Additionally, US News ranked national universities. Syracuse University overall is ranked No. 62 nationwide.
“We’re not satisfied with being No. 43,” says Ken Kavajecz, dean of the Whitman School. “We are working diligently to improve the experience we provide to our students on campus and to provide excellent opportunities for their careers upon graduation.”
The US News & World Report undergraduate business program rankings were based on a survey of business school deans and senior faculty at undergraduate business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Deans and faculty were surveyed in spring 2013.
