At the Whitman School of Management, you will both develop the skills of an excellent leader, learning how to adapt and change within this new environment, and test your skills in real life situations such as industry internships, involvement in student organizations, and field trips.
We offer a major in management, providing the experience and specialized coursework to prepare you to become leaders in the field through developing the skills necessary to engage people and create successful organizations. We also offer a minor in strategic management.
Our PhD in Management program offers a rigorous, research-oriented program in which you focus on one of the following major areas of study: organizational behavior (OB)/human resources (HR), organization theory (OT), or strategic management. Our students enter the program from a variety of educational and professional backgrounds and are immediately immersed in coursework, research, and preparation for teaching in their area of study to prepare you for placement in highly regarded colleges and universities.
