The Barnes Family Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities
The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities offers cutting-edge, experiential training in entrepreneurship and small business management to post-9/11 veterans with disabilities resulting from service to our country.
About the EBV
The EBV is designed around two central elements: a) focused, practical training in the tools and skills of new venture creation and growth, reflecting issues unique to disability and public benefits programs, and; b) the establishment of a support structure for graduates of the program.
Steven W. Barnes
In 2010, the Barnes Family Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities was endowed by Mr. Steven Barnes, who said, "My support of the EBV allowed me to make a difference in three areas of passion for me: helping those in the military that have sacrificed so much for our country; entrepreneurship for creation; and support of Syracuse University."
The EBV Consortium
In addition to our involvement, the EBV consortium includes the UCLA Anderson School of Management, Florida State University's College of Business, Mays Business School at Texas A&M, and the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University.
