Admissions

Students will generally start MBA coursework in their junior year. The application deadline for students wishing to start in the fall semester is April 19th during their sophomore year. All mailed application material must be postmarked by the deadline date. It is always beneficial to apply before the posted deadline. Admission to the H. John Riley Dual Engineering / MBA program will depend on an undergraduate's academic record, GMAT or GRE exam score, and other application materials. Students are admitted to the program with the understanding that they are on track for a five-year dual degree program.

*A complete application includes all supplemental materials including official test score reports.

Status Communication

Whitman’s Graduate Programs Office will send an email confirmation when the application has been received. Please allow 10 business days for delivery of the decision letter. Decisions cannot be communicated by phone or fax.

Incomplete Applications

If an application is not complete (for example, missing GMAT or GRE exam score, transcripts, essays, or other items) we will inform you via email. An application cannot be reviewed until all required documents have been received. Any application that remains incomplete after the final deadline will automatically be withdrawn.

Admissions Tip:
To make sure your application is complete, carefully review the application checklist.

Return on Investment

Students who meet the admission standards and enroll in the Whitman MBA program will be reimbursed for their GMAT or GRE exam costs..
