The Whitman Advantage Education

Strong Placement, Required Internships – Ninety days post May 2016 graduation, 90 percent of our seniors seeking a job were employed, and 12.5 percent of our total graduates were going onto graduate school. Average starting salary was $55,736. 100 percent of our students complete at least one internship.

Goodman IMPRESS Program  Launched in 2014, this unique program is designed to provide all Whitman undergraduates with the skills and experiences employers seek.

Out of the Classroom Opportunities

Couri Hatchery – The Couri Hatchery is Whitman’s business incubator that helps SU students bring their ideas to life with over 100 student businesses incubating. 

Orange Value Fund – The $4 million Orange Value Fund is a select, two-year program that immerses students in the world of finance.

Ballentine Investment Institute – The Ballentine Investment Institute offers students access to sophisticated tools used by investment professionals. It houses 11 Bloomberg Terminals allowing Whitman students to become fully trained in Bloomberg before they graduate.

Whitman Student Clubs  - There are 14 Whitman Student Clubs that help students explore their academic interests outside the classroom.
