Investment Club

The Syracuse University Investment Club in the Whitman School is open to all SU students regardless of major or year.
The Investment Club invests with real money in the financial markets with a current portfolio value of around $135,000.
A one-time fee is good for a four-year membership and helps pays for food.

General meeting outline:
- Portfolio manager and members discuss recent market news
- Discussion of news on our portfolio holdings
- Ideas brought to club on what to sell/buy and where our portfolio should be headed
- Formal motions and voting on what trades to make.
- Students educate each other on areas of the financial world not covered in class
