SCM students attend Dahlman Rose conference

On Sept 5-6, 2012, three Whitman supply chain management (SCM) majors took advantage of a unique opportunity to see the SCM industry through a new lens: that of investors. At the 5th annual Dahlman Rose & Co. conference in NYC, more than 40 companies presented their company’s status to an audience of competitors, investors and press. They ranged from mature companies as well as new start-ups in six categories: airlines, aircraft leasing, air freight and logistics, container leasing, rail, and trucking.

SCM alumnus Jason Seidl, director of equity research department at Dahlman Rose & Co. and president of the Franklin SCM Advisory Board, invited the students and provided part of the funding to enable them to attend the conference.
