Life at Whitman

Whitman School students during a team building exercise

In addition to taking advantage of all that Syracuse University and the neighboring area has to offer, Whitman students are offered a wide variety of specialized opportunities to gain professional experience, while building connections and having fun. Throughout each semester students partake in professional development events including career fairs, workshops, competitions and more.

Whitman is home to 14 student clubs and organizations, including Xi Tau, Syracuse University’s award-winning chapter of the Delta Sigma Pi, a national professional coed fraternity. Students can meet and network with students and professionals who share their business and entrepreneurial interests. Whitman also offers guest lectures from highly sought after business professionals such as Chinedu Echeruo ‘95, founder of HopStop, a $5.5 million student-managed Orange Value Fund and the Couri Hatchery student business incubator, with more than 100 student businesses.
