With the student in mind, Whitman's state-of-the-art, 160,000-square-foot facility was built to cater to students' academic and social needs. The building boasts technology-filled team rooms equipped with LCD screens, computer labs and lounges, comfortable study areas and wireless Internet throughout.
Web Design & Development
Our department is responsible for web application development, web design, video streaming, live web streaming, web hosting, HTML emails and graphic design.
We put a lot of effort into keeping the Whitman website up-to-date, if you need any changes or have any questions, please call the helpline at x2342 or stop into Suite 114.
Video Capture, Edit and Distribution
We record, edit, distribute and so much more. There are many guest speakers and important events in this building throughout the semester and we'd love to capture these moments and share them with the Whitman community. Make sure to let us know when you expect a distinguished guest and we'll do the rest!
Our department also facilitates live web-streaming of Whitman events, video production, video encoding/transcoding and well as the conversion of VHS tapes to DVD.
