Kenneth Pontarelli

Kenneth Pontarelli graduated from Syracuse University with a dual degree in finance and economics. Until his retirement in 2017, he worked for Goldman Sachs in investment banking and fixed income before attending Harvard Business School where he graduated with Distinction. After business school, he returned to Goldman Sachs investment banking and then transferred to the Merchant Banking Division, which is responsible for the direct private equity investing business of the firm. Pontarelli has served as a board member on a number of private and public companies, including, but not limited to: Coffeyville Resources, Cobalt International Inc., Horizon Wind Energy, Kinder Morgan and Plastipak. He serves as a trustee of the Marymount School of New York, a private nursery through 12th grade all-girls school.
