Tracy Barash is vice president of global franchise management for WarnerMedia’s Cartoon Network. In this capacity, Barash is responsible for developing and managing strategic plans for key network brands such as Ben 10, The Powerpuff Girls and We Bare Bears to maximize revenue across platforms for long-term growth. She works with all regions globally to align plans and grow brands for impact and longevity. From 2008 through 2014, she was vice president of brand development for Cartoon Network and Boomerang. In that role, she worked collaboratively with the marketing, creative and research groups to integrate consumer insights into brand and business strategies. She played a leadership role on the Cartoon Network and Boomerang global rebrands. She also oversaw affiliate marketing and Cartoon Network’s pro-social marketing programs, including the award-winning Stop Bullying: Speak Up.

Barash came to Cartoon Network from the Warner Bros. Consumer Products group in Burbank, California, where she was director of global themed entertainment. Her duties included strategy and execution for branded themed entertainment and events supporting brands such as Harry Potter, Scooby-Doo and Looney Tunes. She served as a key member of the team that launched The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando, as well as managed the development of Harry Potter: The Exhibition global museum tour. Previously, as director of worldwide marketing for the division from 2004-2007, Barash managed development of strategy, brand marketing plans and collateral materials supporting Harry Potter and Scooby-Doo, as well as additional family-targeted theatrical properties, including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

From 1998 to 2003, Barash served as a brand director for Diageo, the global leader in beverage alcohol, where she managed key brand initiatives and oversaw marketing strategy and execution for brands such as Smirnoff Vodka, Malibu Rum and Jose Cuervo Tequila. Over her tenure, she served as a director of portfolio marketing and as director of national brand marketing for Baileys Irish Cream.

Barash holds an MBA in marketing from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta, where she served on the school’s alumni board for nine years. Her bachelor’s degree is in marketing management from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. She is past president of the Syracuse University Alumni Association Board and a former member of the Board of Trustees. She also is the current co-chair of the Atlanta Regional Council.
