Penelope Pooler, who has served as a visiting assistant professor at the Whitman School since January 2016, is an assistant professor of finance practice (statistics) who most recently worked as a senior scientist at Integral Consulting, Inc. She also worked as a senior statistician at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, and has consulted with numerous clients in need of statistical and quantitative solutions to business challenges. Pooler earned her B.F.A. in economics and metalsmithing from Syracuse University, an M.S. in statistics from Oregon State University, and her Ph.D. in statistics from Virginia Tech.
