J. Andrew Petersen’s research interests include measuring and maximizing customer/donor lifetime value (CLV/DLV) and customer/donor equity, managing customer product return behavior, measuring the value of word of mouth, selling and sales management, and linking marketing metrics to financial performance.

He has taught undergraduate, MBA, Executive MBA, and Ph.D. in Marketing for Universities in Marketing Management, Sales Management, Customer Relationship Management, Marketing Research, and Marketing Analytics in the US and India. He has a Ph.D. in Business Administration (concentration in Marketing) from the University of Connecticut. He has a BA with Honors in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
