Daniel A. D'Aniello '68 BS

Daniel A. D'Aniello '68 BS is a founding partner and managing director of The Carlyle Group, one of the largest private equity firms in the world. Carlyle has operations around the world and has redefined the modern private equity marketplace. D'Aniello is based in Washington, D.C. Prior to forming Carlyle in 1987, D'Aniello was vice president for finance and development at Marriott Corporation, where he was responsible for valuation of all major mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, debt and equity offerings, and project financings. Before joining Marriott, he was a financial officer at Pepsico and TWA. In addition to graduating magna cum laude from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University, D'Aniello holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
