The Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University is pleased to invite you to participate in the seventh annual Conference on Business and Entrepreneurship in Africa. We are happy to welcome the conference back to the beautiful city of Syracuse, in upstate New York, USA.

Based on the successful experience of the past six years, the conference offers a unique forum for participants to meet and discuss their current work on business and entrepreneurship in Africa with other academic researchers and business professionals from around the world. Through paper presentations, panel discussions and keynote addresses, together we will seek to understand the pivotal role of entrepreneurship in Africa’s economic development. Participants from around the world will present their findings and offer diverse perspectives on Africa’s budding marketplace.

We hope to stimulate your interest in this largely understudied area and inspire you to further explore business and entrepreneurship in Africa. We look forward to welcoming you to the conference in May. No matter your background or career aspirations, come discover Africa through this exciting program.
