Summer Internships

The summer entrepreneurial internship program provides unique entrepreneurial opportunities for highly qualified Whitman undergraduate and graduate students. As an intern, students will work directly with an entrepreneur, president, or senior executive in a high-growth, innovative company located in the greater-Syracuse metropolitan area. Areas of interest for the summer internship program include both corporate entrepreneurship and family business.

Being selected as a summer intern is both an honor and a challenge as interns participate in exciting, hands-on, experience-based learning opportunities in entrepreneurial work environments.

Student Eligibility Requirements

If you’re a rising junior, senior or graduate student in good standing enrolled in Syracuse University, you are eligible for this program. You must have a strong GPA, demonstrate extracurricular involvement, and have an interest in entrepreneurship. Summer intern candidates are required to enroll for independent study/experiential learning credit and to work up to 37.5 hours per week for up to 10 weeks over the summer months.

Apply as a Student Intern

Students interested in becoming summer interns must complete an online application, provide a professional resume, schedule an interview with the internship coordinator, and show a serious interest in pursuing entrepreneurship.
