Submit a Research Proposal

The Sustainable Enterprise Partnership (SEP), in conjunction with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) has issued a request for proposals for new research focused on sustainable building and infrastructure as it relates to organizations.

Green building and infrastructure is now becoming mainstream in many parts of the world. More than half of all new commercial building construction uses 'green' construction techniques and building practices in the United States. Not only do green buildings and infrastructure promote energy conservation and innovation, but they also directly affect the cost and profitability of organizations.

All RFPs must include at least two principal investigators from the University and/or SUNY-ESF campuses, one of whom must be from the Whitman School of Management. Desired outcomes of this RFP are two-fold: publication in academic journals and white papers for the USGBC.

SuOne proposal will be selected. Proposals will be accepted starting Oct. 20 and must be submitted by Fri., Oct. 30, at 5 p.m. Projects will last approximately one year, with total funding of $30,000.

Submission is now closed for research proposals. Check back Aug. 1, 2017 for more opportunities.
